Sorry about the delay in responding.  In case you're still having
trouble....

It sounds like you have both innd and crosspost making the file links.  If
you're using a crosspost feed to move the article links out of the main
loop, you have to also tell innd not to make the links (by using the -L
option to innd, among other ways).
