Very newbie questions.

Please excuse me for asking this;

Is there a web site for a very newbie setting up a news server using INN
2.2.2?

I am having problems with not having an active or history file.

INND: No active file!

I know I need to pull in the news groups, but how do I go about this?

What files do I make a cron job for? Where to I tell it what groups to bring
in?

Am I even going about this the right way?


This is all just because I would like to learn INN, Please don't scream at
me to loudly.
