Development releases of the upcoming maintenance releases of BIND are
now available for those who want to preview them. These are the first
beta releases of BIND 9.9.11, BIND 9.10.6, and BIND 9.11.2.

Please note -- while these releases do include security fixes for our
most recently disclosed vulnerabilities (CVE-2017-3142 and CVE-2017-3143)
they do *not* include the subsequent fix for the TSIG zone transfer
regression that was inadvertently introduced in the CVE-2017-3143 fix,
as these development releases were frozen before the fix for that
issue was finalized. Most BIND operators will not be affected by
that regression (which only affects servers which are receiving zone
transfers from some non-BIND sources.) Fixes for the regression ARE
included in the other BIND versions we have released today -- see the
other announcements on this list for details.)
