AIX Compilation Problem

Dearests,

	I've tried to upgrade my 8.1.2 BIND to 8.2.1 (AIX box). But, I'm
getting the following error during "make":

gcc -g -O2   -o addr addr.o \
        ../../lib/libbind.a -ll
collect2: ld returned 8 exit status
ld: 0711-236 WARNING: Archive ../../lib/libbind.a does not contain
        any members. The archive is being ignored.
ld: 0711-317 ERROR: Undefined symbol: .__inet_ntop
ld: 0711-317 ERROR: Undefined symbol: .__inet_pton
ld: 0711-345 Use the -bloadmap or -bnoquiet option to obtain more
information.
make[2]: *** [addr] Error 1

	I've already changed the native make, to the Gnu make-3.77. The
version of AIX used is 4.2.1. I've never had problems compiling the older
versions of BIND.

	Any answer will be vey welcome.
