wrong A record cached

Hello,

I have a wrong 'A record' cached in my DNS server mainly because the TTL
for the A record was set to 6 months by the DNS administrator
responsible for the IP in question.

Question is, how do i delete the 'A record' from my DNS Server's cache
without doing a stop/start on named?
