basic instructions... slack 4 linux/bind 2.2.5 please...

Im running 8.1.2, things were great... till i screwed things up :( anyway
I figured since i have to muck with it, id upgrade everything... I did
sendmail pretty well... but bind... sigh... are there some easier
instructions on how to compile bind 2.2.5 on slackware? then
install/configure it? the instructions are a bit cyrptic, and huge (for
every os known to man... it would be nice to read just the instructions
for slack
