Upgrading from BIND 4.9 to Bind 8.2.2p5

Step 10. (named-boot.conf < /etc/named. > named.conf) proved to be
problematic to me a few months ago.

I found that the named-bootconf.sh script did not convert named.boot to
named.conf.

We use SCO 3.2v5.0.5 as our NS and the conversion was necessary since 5.0.5
uses
a later BIND that our previous SCO release...

Anyhow, to fix this, I just ran the named.bootconf.pl (PERL) script instead.
The PERL script ran without any problems and created the new named.conf
file.

After that, I was just left with restarting named.

RBA.
