Looks good. Though, you can't put the reverse entry, 215 IN PTR v.com. in
the same file as the forward entries.
Here's how I would do it.
****************************************************************************
*************
Forward zone file:
v.com. IN SOA ns1.granitecanyon.com. Dave.Lahoti.com. (
131214734 ; Serial #
21600 ; Refresh after 6 hours
10800 ; Retry after 3 hours
604800 ; Expire after 1 week
43200 ) ; Minimum TTL of 12 hours
; V.com Zone info
IN NS ns1.granitecanyon.com.
IN NS ns2.granitecanyon.com.
IN RP Dave.Lahoti.com. Dave.v.com.
;Adress Records
;
IN A 25.73.58.215
localhost IN A 127.0.0.1
www IN CNAME v.com.
Dave IN TXT "Dave Lahoti"
****************************************************************************

Reverse zone file:
58.73.25.in-addr.arpa. IN SOA ns1.granitecanyon.com
Dave.Lahoti.com.
131214734 ; Serial #
21600 ; Refresh after 6 hours
10800 ; Retry after 3 hours
604800 ; Expire after 1 week
43200 ) ; Minimum TTL of 12 hours
; V.com Zone info
IN NS ns1.granitecanyon.com.
IN NS ns2.granitecanyon.com.
IN RP Dave.Lahoti.com. Dave.v.com.
;
215 IN PTR v.com.
