what is DLEN value?

I guess dlen corresponds to the value, referrted to as RDLENGTH in
RFC 1035: an unsigned 16 bit integer that specifies the length in
octets of the RDATA field of a resource record. For example, A RR
has 4-byte long RDATA field and, therefore, dlen=4.
