WHOIS AT INTERNIC

When I do a whois for certain domains I get :

whois microsoft.com at internic.net
[internic.net]
Microsoft Corporation (MICROSOFT-DOM)
MICROSOFT.COM
Microsoft.com (STARTPLAYING-DOM)
STARTPLAYING.COM
microsoft.com (MICROSOFT-SURVEY-DOM)
MICROSOFT-SURVEY.COM
microsoft.com (GOTASF-DOM)
GOTASF.COM
microsoft.com (M1CR0SOFT2-DOM)
M1CR0SOFT.NET

To single out one record, look it up with "!xxx", where xxx is the
handle, shown in parenthesis following the name, which comes first.


How do I 'single out one record'.
Please give me the command as I've tried everything.
