resolving problem..takes to long..timeout

Hi,
I recently set up another domain,, within out DNS. But when I try to
query hosts in this domain it takes forever, though it is successfuly
in resolving the hostnames. If I then atttach to the new domain, and
try to
resolve a hostname there is an instant response.

I have checked our network all is OK, any ideas,
