simple howto for DNSSEC?

I'm finally getting around to playing with DNSSEC (which,
correct me if I'm wrong, is mainly to authenticate zone transfers?
that's what I want to use it for anyway).

The RFC's are pretty heavy going, before I plunge into them,
has anyone written a howto for DNSSEC?  I've looked through the ISC
website, and the bind 8 doco, but haven't seen anything cookbookish.
