Installing man pages on Solaris 2.5.1

Hi all,
I am having problems installing the bind 8.2.1 man files on Solaris 2.5.1.
The binaries are working fine but the man pages :(
The src INSTALL file says the following:
The BIND 8 "doc" package includes HTML documentation as well as all
the RFC's, Internet Drafts, and "man" pages we can think of.
You may need to install the doc/tmac files in your nroff/troff support
directory since we use the newer BSD "mandoc" system for our "man" pages.
I believe that this does apply to Solaris 2.5.1 as when I do a 'make
install' from the src/man dir, I get the following error message:
nroff: Cannot find library -mandoc
When I try to run 'make realinstall' from doc/tmac, the Makefile seems to be
looking for a ../me/strip.sed which isn't in the doc distribution set.
It is likely that I am missing something really obvious - can anyone tell me
what it is?
Cheers
James
