Hi Stephan,

I use HP-UX also and I use bind 8.2.1 it's work very nice.

If you want to put some security feature with any version of bind, I
recommand than you read the book DNS & BIND from O'RELLY.

If you wnat to wich version you have, go to see your syslog.log.
tail -50 /var/adm/syslog/syslog.log (for example)
