I have included my named.conf as requested, ( after a short delay )

// P.A.Hussein 22-07-99

options {

directory "/var/named";

// Place optional arguments here

/*

* If there is a firewall between you and nameservers you want

* to talk to, you might need to uncomment the query-source

* directive below. Previous versions of BIND always asked

* questions using port 53, but BIND 8.1 uses an unprivileged

* port by default.

*/

// query-source address * port 53;

};

//

// The development leg zone

//

zone "rotary.dera.gov.uk" {

type master;

file "db.rotary.dera.gov.uk";

};

zone "0.0.193.in-addr.arpa" {

type master;

file "db.193.0.0";

};

zone "0.0.199.in-addr.arpa" {

type master;

file "db.199.0.0";

};

//

// a caching only nameserver config

//

zone "." {

type hint;

file "named.cache";

};

//

// loopback

//

zone "0.0.127.in-addr.arpa" {

type master;

file "db.127.0.0";

};

Thanks for your help
