I have no experience with W2000 Server.  I have been told that it will
unregister any of its services that are removed by the Windows systems
administrator.  I have not yet connected a BIND box to our W2000 test
network, so I have no sniffer trace records on which to base any
information.

A related question - are SRV records documented in the BIND Book third
edition?  All I have is the second edition.
