FAQ Questions and Answers (was Re: CNAME FAQ)

I have received a few comments so far about my "proto-FAQ" and
appreciate them.  I have to receive a lot more before I will
consider this FAQ a going concern.

But, a comment about the style for proposed questions and answers
for the FAQ.  An answer to any single question shouldn't take more
than ~50 lines (this limit is extremely arbitrary).  Any longer
than this, and the FAQ will start to approach the size of Cricket's
book, and I don't want to compete with his writing and O'Reilly's
publishing!

Answers should be kept short.  If the answer is too long, maybe it
should be broken up in a manner that can answer multiple, separate,
questions.
