Problem with PTR records and resolver buffer

 Hello,

 There is an IP address which has 55 PTR records, and mail
 cannot get through from this machine to our site, since  reverse lookup
 fails for this IP address, and our mail server does not 
 accept mail from undetermined IP addresses.
 I certainly do not want to drop reverse lookup from the mailer, but
 allow the mail to be delivered.

 The address in question  is 194.143.245.2.

 It seems that a buffer is too small in the resolver routine.
 Operating system is Solaris 2.6. Note that on another machine
 with Solaris 2.7 reverse lookup works fine.

 Is there a workaround for this ?
 Any hint would be appreciated.
