BIND 8 with forwarding and sub-domains under a split-dns

Oops, forgot about that alternative (haven't shifted my paradigm yet :-)

This is a best-of-both-worlds approach, as long as you are running a sufficiently
modern version of BIND on your head-DNS-server to support it.
