stetting up named as training

Hi,
I want to learn more about bind 8 and i have a suse linux server up and
running. Are there some rules like there are for ip ranges that can be
used for testing purpose?

I have a hostname given to me by the isp(demon.nl) named tri-angle can i
build the testing domain arround domain name tri-angle.demon.nl and add
in the front of tri-angle other hostnames or is this not possible.
