Do you mean, it can't resolve some names like cisco.com, or do you mean some
reverse names.

Subject: a mysterious dns problem !
I have a DNS server with Bind 8 on a Redhat 6.1 intel PC. The problem
is my dns server cant resolve some of the internet addresses, there is
nothing wrong with the .db files nor bind configuration files like
named.conf.Besides there is no related error messages on log file.
Since some other important processes are running on the same server , I
cant just setup a new bind on the DNS server, so i have to solve the
problem..err ...with a some help.
I havent given much clue but do you have an idea what might be the
problem ?
Thanks
