	Basically you look at the logs and run the DNS tools against it.  See below.

	Microsoft's implementation of DNS for NT 4,.0 is known to be buggy and even
  they wouldn't support it.  Their DNS for Windows 2000 Server they will
support.

	The latest version of BIND for NT is 8.2.3-T6B-NT4 which I made available
  through Len Conrad's site at URL:

http://bind8nt.meiway.com/download.cfm.

  It's near the bottom of the page, but works well on NT.  It comes with
the basic
 tools:nslookup, dig and host.  Configuration questions are answered on
that site.
 Logging is to the event log, unless you specifically set up logging to go
to it's own
 file (specified in the named.conf file).

		Otherwise it's identical to the version that runs on Unix.  Feel free to ask
  additional questions here.
