bind log

Hello,
Sorry if this has already been answered but, I wasn't able to find any post
related to my question.

 I am running a DNS with Bind 8.2.2p5 on al Linux box (RH6.1) and
everithing seems to work properly, but looking at the log, I have realized
that the reported CPU value (load?) is continually increasing.

It started below 0.x (1 month ago) and now it shows values as high as 10.x.

My question is:
Is this a normal DNS behvior or there is something wrong with my settings?
