Hi,

I'd like to compile BIND8.2.2sp5 on a Solaris 2.6 box.
I have tried with make clean, make depend, etc., but
I always got this error mesage;

make: Warning: Can't find `make.rules': No such file or directory
Using .systype
Using .settings
/opt/stuff/named/src/include
sh: CC=gcc: not found
*** Error code 1
make: Fatal error: Command failed for target `all'

What is that make.rules file?
I've installed gcc, and its path is set, so I don't understand
what does the "sh: CC=gcc: not found" mean?

Thanks in advance!

Regards,

		Istvan
