Must I recompile sendmail?

Last I looked (8.9.0), sendmail only linked with -lresolv. I haven't had
any problems using the OS-provided resolver library on Solaris 2.5.1 and
Solaris 7, but if yours is truly ancient, you may want to recompile/relink
with the BIND-provided one.
