UNIX hosts and MX "best practice"

sorry for earlier confusion....

   I guess it is better to specify  both as IN well as MX record if you are

going to use  as mail exchanger it will simplify the address resolution.
       If you do not  intend to use it as mail exchanger then specifying as
IN is
sufficient.
