I am not sure about the last messages but others above would show up
only after I restart DNS.
I had it to happen several times on  8.2.2_P5 and earlier versions as
well.  Named seems to be running but
is rejecting all queries and client waits and times out to slave server.

Does anybody have a clue?

Question on side: Is there a way to decrease time out period so client
would switch to secondary
server faster?
