Error running nslookup on clients

Hello,

I have a DNS server which is a local DNS & forwards requests further,
with
Bind 8.2.2p5 On solaris 2.7

When I do a nslookup from a client PC or sun server it gives out an
error.

C:\>nslookup
*** Can't find server name for address 192.158.10.11: Non-existent
domain
*** Default servers are not available
Default Server: UnKnown
Address: 192.158.10.11

In the log file it does not give out any error messages.... in
/var/adm/messages

Could you please point out where should I look into & what could be the
error.
