I don't want the named.memstats file

Hi All,

I want some statistics and monitoring on my nameservers.
I write a script which does a "ndc stats" every 4 minutes and gets use
the "(Global)" line from the named.stats file.

But, when I do a "kill -SIGILL" or a "ndc stats", 2 files are appended:
named.stats and named.memstats...

I don't want the named.memstats file. It is too big and needs to much
computation to be generated.

Is there a way to update only the named.stats file ?

I could put (in the options statement of my named.conf) this pathname:
memstatistics-file "/dev/null"

but it is not very clean...

Do you have other solutions ?

Thanks.
