You don't have any aliases (i.e. CNAME records) in the zone. If you want
"www.monarchbeach-homes.com" to resolve to an address, you need a direct
A record or a CNAME to an A record. named can't read your mind. In fact,
all of those A records you currently have in the zone, except for
monarchbeach-homes.com itself, of course (for reasons already
explained), and "localhost", could be converted into CNAMEs pointing to
a single A record. But why bother? CNAMEs chew up packet space and if
all of your zones are sharing a single file, if you ever change the
address, the only difference is between a single search-and-replace
versus a global search-and-replace, on a single file, which is trivial.
It doesn't make any difference to the Host: header whether it's a
CNAME or an A record, and the Host: header is what I'm assuming your
webserver will use to present the appropriate web content.
