<NULL> hostname

This is probably an FAQ, but I could not find it in the book or anywhere
else. I also posted a question to the newsgroup and didn't get a
response. Simply put:

How do you enter an A record or CNAME for a <null> host?

What I want to do is to map "example.com" to "www.example.com" to allow
web browsers to connect without the "www". Currently you will get host
unknown for the http://example.com ...
