multiple definition of `res_send_setrhook' ???

Bind version 8.2.2-P5
DEC Ultrix 4.5 with Y2000 patches applied

Does anyone have a clue what to do ???
It seems have something with the orginginally
installed libraries refering to res_??? resolv??? bind delivered with
DEC Ultrix.

A glue would be most welcome.
