install bind problem

Mark,

Thank for reply, I have just test nslookup -d and it can not get further
than our first DNS server. But on the first DNS server, I can get the record
for tafe.nsw.edu.au. and the old second DNS server can get also.

More strange, the other internet site is working fine on the new DNS
server, why only this one? If it is zone file wrong, may be the zone
name wrong on the new DNS server, I conpare the root.cache on both old
second DNS server and the new, it seems same? anything else I need check?

By the way, Our first DNS server is using bind ver 4.9, but the new DSN
second is v8.2.2. Can I use the the bind v8.2.2 as second server of bind
v4.9?
