Name Server Layout

Hi There,
	I thought I'd send and e-mail out to this list to see if any has any advice
for me.  Currently, I am serving for approx. 4000 zone files across 6 name
servers (Sparc 20's for the primaries, Sparc 5's for the secondaries).  We'd
been thinking on consolidating this down to 2-4 boxes.  I was wondering if:

1)  Anybody has recommendations for hardware?

2)  Are you limited to the amount of zones you can have on one name server?
(well, actually, one primary and one secondary)

Any help would be most appreciated.
