This doesn't quite make sense...can anyone clarify what's happening?

My friend has an email address at idcap.com.

Everytime I try to mail the guy, I get this bounce message:
"Sorry, I couldn't find any host named idcap.com. (#5.1.2)"

When I do a lookup for the domain,
I get the following:

Server:  auth300.ns.uu.net
Address:  210.80.58.74

idcap.com
        origin = auth300.ns.uu.net
        mail addr = hostmaster.uu.net
        serial = 4
        refresh = 21600 (6H)
        retry   = 3600 (1H)
        expire  = 1728000 (2w6d)
        minimum ttl = 21600 (6H)
idcap.com       nameserver = auth300.ns.uu.net
idcap.com       nameserver = auth301.ns.uu.net
idcap.com       preference = 20, mail exchanger = noteshk.idcap.com
idcap.com       preference = 10, mail exchanger = notes.idcap.com
idcap.com       nameserver = auth300.ns.uu.net
idcap.com       nameserver = auth301.ns.uu.net
auth300.ns.uu.net       internet address = 210.80.58.74
auth301.ns.uu.net       internet address = 210.80.58.75
noteshk.idcap.com       internet address = 203.85.133.2
notes.idcap.com internet address = 203.193.30.2

As you can see, there are two MX records, but there is no A record for IDCAP.COM,
although I would have figured that this wouldn't have mattered. Any ideas what's happening
here?

Thanks,
Thomas
