higher and parse the output. NOTE: this level of debugging is
*really* verbose.

In theory, the "packet" category could give you what you want without
most of the other debugging crap. But, it doesn't seem to work as
advertised. In fact, it doesn't seem to work *at*all* unless your
debugging level is set higher than 3, so you still have to deal with all
of that wasted disk space, etc...
