As I understand it:

	- several of the above names are CONSORTIA of existing
	registrars.  You will not, e.g., be able to go to "Afilias" to
	register anything; you will be able to go to NSI and others.

	- part of the delay is looking for ways for people who want to
	legitimately transfer their "name rights" from the old TLDs to
	the new ones, to do so.  also to set up ways to check whether a
	person/group registering in one of the new domains belongs in
	that domain.  i do see conflicts coming where a holder of a
	name in an old TLD has LESS right than another to have it in
	the new domain.  what larks, eh, pip?
