dsl.net is my ISP and they did delegate the IP block 216.175.178.32/28 to me in
accordance with the
RFC (sorry, I think it is 2317) for subclass networks.
It works most of the time, but I notice that some mail servers give me large
delays, which made me think it was reverse lookup issue.

Thank you very much for your analysis, what do you suggest I do?
As far as I know everything is in order, but it's quite apparent that this is a
false assumption.
