Bind 9.0.0 slaves sends NOTIFY

Yes; it caught me by surprise too. It was explained as being there to
support slave nameservers which themselves act as a master to some other
nameserver.

It can be disabled on a zone-by-zone basis by adding "notify no;" to the
relevant zone statement.
