This really does have to be addressed.  A magazine recently [don't
quibble time terms] awarded the support award of the year to the Linux
Community.  Yes, those very Linux people whom you deride without even
knowing about THEM.  They are indeed immensely helpful.  Unlike the
HOLD tone generated when you dial MicroSloth.

A study compared the helpfulness of the MS help desk to a dial-in
fortune teller as advertised on late-night television.  By all metrics,
the latter came in much higher.

Not that the rest doesn't need to be addressed, but this was so easy.
