Fail to lookup virutal domain name.

If sendmail complains about a local configuration error, then the error
is probably in the sendmail local configuration, not in the DNS 
configuration.  The error message you reported has been discussed
numerous times in this discussion group.  Look at the archives at
isc.org, or look at the sendmail FAQ at sendmail.org .
