	It will return NOERROR to the master.
	It won't have logged anything after the "rcvd NOTIFY" message,
	except maybe "NOTIFY(SOA) for zone already xferring".

	Good logs are supposed to be quiet when things are working ok,
	noisy when they detect an error.  Named also logs at different
	levels.  It pays to filter different levels to different
	files so you can seperate the errors from the information only
	messages.
