It does... to a degree.  I just read an article today in my "Linux Magazine"
that talks about Bind and Win2K and how to integrate.  It seems the only
real hangup is GSS-TSIG.. which I believe will be rectified in a matter of
time, correct?
You can't read the article on line, but it is from their March 2001 issue.

I'm pretty sure it does.  The book I read on 8.2 talks about it.

You can either use syslog or define your own logging mechanism.
