Notify Bind 9.1.0 / 9.1.1 - Master to 8.2.3-REL - Slave

Hi folks,

I searched the list archive and comp.protocols.dns.bind and couldn't find
anything about this problem:

I try to notify a bind 8.2.3-REL-slave-server from a 9.1.0 (I also tried it
with a 9.1.1) master-server and get the following messages in the logs of
the master:

Apr 21 04:43:23.392 notify: debug 3: zone test/IN: sending notify to

Although I get the "failed: unexpected end of input" message, the slave
pulls the zone from the master correctly:

It is _not_ the typical "bracket-in-wrong-line-problem" and yes, I read
doc/misc/migration :)

I also tested some other constellations with the same zones and config:
	Master	Slave		Status
	9.1.0		9.1.0		works
	8.2.3-REL	9.1.0		works
	8.2.3-REL	8.2.3-REL	works
	9.1.0		8.2.3-REL	doesn't :(

If all of the servers where mine, it wouldn't be a problem - unfortunately
two of the slaves are from my ISP and he forces me to use them for my
classless revers-zones (and they are something prior to 9er releases) :(
