CNAME records having MX

Sorry, some confusion over what I was asking. Can I do the following? I
thought I remembered a reason why this could not be done:

$ORIGIN stupid.com.
foo	IN	CNAME 	baz.stupid.com
	IN	MX		10  bar.stupid.com

Hello Michele,

yes, you are right, never use CNAMES for MX or SOA records (this applies
at least for BIND-8.x). Don't know if this restriction is still true for
BIND-9...
