Should bind 9 be installed in chrooted environment?

There has been some discussion of SUN "bugs" in the NTP newsgroup.  I'm
not sure if these were with Solaris on an Inter or Sparc platform.

There were fixes mentioned and I was able to locate some information in
the NTP FAQ that might be applicable.  See:

Take a look and lets us know if this applies.
