can't dig

When I run dig on a newly installed Bind 9.1 server (ns.infinitymalls.com),
I get the following error:

; <<>> DiG 9.1.0 <<>> anydomain.com
;; global options:  printcmd
;; connection timed out; no servers could be reached

I also noticed that the DNS server that I setup is not caching any domain
information except .  Because of this, it can't access FQDNs.  Any ideas on
what I did wrong?
