BIND 9.1 View query

Just want to get my head around views a little more so if someone can
confirm or deny this it would be great.

Views can be set up for IP addresses and address ranges so one server could
theoretically handle three zones, all for the same name but provide
different data to 10.2.x.x, Different data to 10.1.x.x and different data to
the rest of the world.

But what happens if an item of data is not in the zone file for 10.2.x.x -
will BIND then drop back to it's "everything else" zone and provide the data
from there?

Please say yes as it's make the DNS server count here a bit more manageable
