rndc reload

--Just complied 9.1.0, having trouble using the features in rndc (which are
available).  When trying to reload the server error message reads:
               rndc: send remote authenticator : permission denied

Looked through the lists of old emails, didn't see anything like this.
rndc.conf file looks like those I did see in the archives............

Ideas?
