This is another area where BIND 9 lags behind djbdns. The standard
djbdns server, tinydns, already works from a fast on-disk database.

Don't be scared by the ``tinydns'' name. The fourth-largest DNS hosting
company---currently 280000 *.com domains, 22000 *.net domains, etc.---is
using tinydns to publish all that information from a single database.
